I am wondering if any of you have had to deal with fighting the municipality/community on public lakes that are trying to outlaw ballast systems? There are a couple lakes that are trying to push this law into affect along with one in Milwaukee that already has passed this. Please let me know what has and hasn't worked for you to fight this.

Get an old houseboat, weight it down, and drive it up and down where the proposed restriction at cruising speed. Maybe then they will try to ban houseboats and not worrying about wakeboard boats.

Put a goldfish in the tanks and call em' livewells. Be sure to point out that you even use the same pumps to fill them as the guy in the ranger bass boat.
