Anyone have pictures of where this thing is. Or instructions. I quickly looked at the engine and didn't see where the impeller should be. I thought it would be where the water pump is on a normal engine. I would think it would be really obvious!

if its a black scorpian stand on the swim platform facing the boat its in the bottom left corner of the engine. Its super tight in there and hard to get to! Goodluck

Hey Dave... I just called a tech at Supreme and asked for detailed instructions on how to get at mine since it looks like it will be a bbbbeeeeooooottttcccchhhh....

If you go into the observers side v-drive hatch... and remove the side panel... you will be able to find the impeller housing at the back of the boat near the cool fuel unit... just follow your belt... not that hard to find.

Yours will be similar.

1. Take serpentine belt off.

2. Use 9/16 socket with extension and there are 2 bolts holding the impeller housing on the engine... close to each other... one above the other... remove bolts.

3. Now that the housing is loose, remove the two hoses.

4. You should now be able to remove the impeller housing from the back side of the exhaust.

Before removing the impeller from the housing, make note of which way the splines are leaning.

Now that you have the impeller housing in your hands... check for any debris, scraped, grooves etc...

Assuming the housing is fine, take some grease and lube it up! Install the new impeller with the splines in the correct direction... and re-install the housing.

Hope that helps.

it does not matter which way the splines are, they will be turning only oneway and immediately corrects itself upon running it. no worries.
