Ballast Installer in Tampa

Does anyone know someone good in the Tampa area that has installed an auto ballast system before? Would like to get one installed not sure my dealer has done it before. Thanks

give them a call. it would be best to have the dealer that sales the brand of boat that you have install it. if they run into a problem they can call the factory for some help or just add one of the factory systems into it. i've installed one before. wasnt' very fun. and it wasn't very cheap.

installing a ballast system is not that tough, although it is a little time consuming. The dealer will want some serious cash to do it for you, but you could do it yourself in a few hours over a couple of weekends without too much issue.

There are a million posts on the board about ballast systems, pumps, plumbing, layouts, sacs, etc - I'm sure you could get some good info and then decide if it's something you'd like to take on yourself.
