Hi !
My girlfriend is looking to get her first wakeboard and bindings.
We looked around the internet for the packages that fitted her budget.
We came up with 3 choices :
The Liquid Force Angel with Alloy Bindings

The Ronix Krush and the Luxe bindings

or the Hyperlite Eden with Symbol bindings

I was hoping you could give us your opinion on those boards because we don't have really specialized shops here in quebec city (canada) so we can't really demo the boards.
Thanks for your help ...

Will, my girlfriend rode a bunch of boards before choosing one. She ended up with the Liquid Force Jett. Another girl from our lake rode the board my girlfriend had bought, and loved it too. Now they both have one. On top of that, I rode the 136 Witness (which is the exact same board as the jett) all of last year. Great board, and gives you ability to progress with it. Consider it in you options

Thx for your help.

as far as boards go... try them all out if you can... most pro shops wont charge you for each board if you try them in the same day...

I have the 2007 Hyperlite Eden and I love it. It's a great board for a beginner. I have landed jumps that I probably shouldn't have landed. It's not a quick slippery board and it has really good pop. I bought this board without demoing it. Just my opinion of the Eden.

My chick rides a hype divine. i think its 07. good board to progress on, came with dagger fins. put 1.1s on it, now they're off completely, she likes riding with the sm molded fins.

seems like the girls product has really improved in the last few years. prolly coudln't go wrong with a newer model

How tall is she and how much does she weigh?
Have you looked at the CWB Lotus package with the Ember bindings, great setup for the money and the bindings have the hinge tech so easy in and out with zero heel lift.

Hey will,

We would love to help you with your girlfriend. We have lady riders here as well as lady riders on staff and we give you a performance guarantee in writing. We think the only way to be sure is to ride the board. If there is anything we can ever do to help you, let us know. Thanks a million.

the ronix krush is a great board. right now i'm riding a ronix krush but with halo bindings. the luxe bindings will work for her since it seems she doesn't need the higher performance binding yet. since you said it is her 1st board then it might be a little too high performance but it depends on her skill level and such.

........it would help to know the budget.....then I would probably steer you to ebay and get the best board and binding you can afford from there....unless you have already priced there. I have bought our last 4 boards from ebay. fyi you could get pro board and bindings from 2006 or 2007 for about 400 canadian to your door. If you go less than pro then prob about 300 to your door
