A buddy of mine just sold his boat last week to someone in cali. The problem is he lives in Ohio and agreed to split shipping. Does anyone have any idea's on what would be the least expensive route.

I used http://www.osborneinboardtransport.com to ship my last boat to Salt Lake. Did a great job! Not the cheapest...

I used Uship a year ago to find someone to ship my boat. Got plenty of bids and went with a guy with lots of positive feedback. Not the cheapest either but the boat arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Seattle to Atl for 2500$

What the hell is a non-profit foundation doing shipping boats. Sounds fishy to me, who is going to deliver or ship anything and not make any money. I wouldn't trust my boat with them. I've heard good things about u-ship.

I've used Osborne in the past and they did a great job.

I've also used RV Transport before and was VERY happy with their service. They were the cheapest at the time ($1.25/loaded mile), but I have no idea what has happened to rates with the recent increase in fuel.

Give them a call: (503)788-6430

I used U-Ship as well but it was Osborne Transport that gave me the best price for his reputation. He was very good and I will use him agian if I have to ship another one.
Good Luck

I almost used Uship on mine, but ended up just going and getting it my self. I got a lot of good deals on it though. A buddy of mine works for them. They do good work
