electrical problem

we just pickd the boat up from the shop and connected the battery to listen to music while we cleaned it. but it will not turn on but the bilge works its 2001 super air nautique are there any fuses tha could be blown?

Anyone?

check all the breakers.....should be under teh dash. But maybe not in that location.....look around for a bunch of push button breakers.

yeah we checked those and they are all ok. te guy who worked on it says he disnt do anything with the electrical other than diconnect the battery. buthe put in new ballast pumps

You need a test light. They're cheap and handy. Touch the point the power line. They're very sharp and can be pushed through the coating but it's best to find a plug and test there.
The handle will have an alligator clip. Attach that to a long wire that's connected to a good ground.
Now you can follow the power line back to where it loses power. If it glows at the unit you have the ground disconnected. Good luck. It's a pain chasing wiring but it's not hard.
