If you're going Liquid Force, I would wait for the 2005s. I understand they are more durable.

Don't forget to try the CWB's they are very comfortable and nearly bombproof. Check the Boss & the Zeus, both sick boots just depends on how you like your boots to feel.

In my personal opinion I'd have to agree with Stephan, I got my new zeus' and am very happy with them (once they broke in) I wasn't to happy with my parks, they kept falling apart every 5 minutes. The LF bindings seem really good this year though the sphynx seem to break pretty quick, though the transits look really solid. And as for CD they're out of business but you'll probably find some on ebay.

If you like you're '03 Ultras, the '04's are awesome. Way more comfy with the same feel. I haven't been able to get my hands on a pair of '05's yet. Why do you want to replace your ultras? I rode the '04 parks for about a week. I hated 'em.

Thane Dogg- I think you're going to really like the 05 Ultras. We just got a shipment in yesterday, and I tried them on for the first time. I felt the 04's were rather difficult to put on, but the 05's are better, and super comfortable. It's going to be a tough choice between the Ultras and the Transits this year. The nice thing about the Ultras is that you get all the comfort, and most of the hold that you'd get from a taller laceup binding, but don't have to mess with laces or anything (and they're cheaper). Les, Keith Lidberg told me a few days ago at OWC when I asked him why he was riding in Parks. It wasn't making a profit but they're still going with Kampus Skates

OBRIEN OBRIEN OBRIEN. They have the most Advanced bindings on the market. Liquid force or Hyperlite would tryly be selling you feet short. And your riding will suffer.

get something with zippers. my shorts and my vest have zippers, why shouldnt my bindings? zippers are the most revolutionary thing in wakeboarding since the bi-directional board. and NO BINDINGS ARE BOMB-PROOF. I have destroyed a couple pairs of Zeus, but CWB is so awesome with their warranty, that less than a week later I had a brand new pair at my doorstep. You can get opinions if you want, but I would demo.

Maybe that's why I can't ride for Shiz.... That's all I've ever ridden: Liquid Force and Hyperlite. Gotta try some O'briens next year.

Mike - I love my '04's I don't know how they could get any better. I also like the ultras because they keep my feet tight to the board, but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a high top. I hate that! toolfan - J-rod - ditto. Andy -

I guess the later production 2005 CWB's are going to be coming with molded toe pieces, kinda like how LF molded theirs on the Ultra. Should make them even more comfy than current. We all have our opinions but stating the same thing a few times is a bit annoying, Andy. Bring something new each time.

Les, I'm only going by Keith told me. Maybe thats what he ment though, not making money so they're selling it off. I hope they do stay, I like their take on bindings, but then again without the original brains behind it, will it be the same. (Message edited by kristian on November 01, 2004)

Asking what kind of bindings you should buy is like asking someone what kind of running shoes you should buy.

What I am saying, Thane Dog, is that you need to try bindings on for yourself to see how they fit. For example, I have uber wide feet, and if you have narrow feet, obviously I won't like the bindings that you prefer. I was only drawing a comparison to something with which everyone is familiar.

you have a wide foot, and, hypothetically speaking, if you like tight bindings, and I have a narrower foot and like looser bindings would we like the same bindings? ahhhhh ha!

Seriously man, that is the same comparison I am trying to draw, which is personal preference! Case closed.

The 2005 shpynx are the most comparable to the HY parks and are far less cost. I think the sphynx for 05 ar eTHE binding and come in a limited edition snake skin check them out.
