how old do u think u should go for buying a second hand boat b4 they start losing accesories and ballast, ie whats wats the oldest boat u've seen wit ballast

everything stock is probably mid to late 90's is my guess. If you can find an older boat at a great price it may be cheaper to add an aftermarket ballast system, as well as acc.

I think internal ballast, towers and most modern wakeboarding accesories started showing up around
97. But I could be wrong.

1998- Enter the Correct Craft Air Nautique. I believe that is the first year that somebody had ballast AND a tower (1997 you could get a tower).

I remember taking that boat with the dealer to Lake Saguaro back in that year. I remember every single boat crew on the whole front part of the lake stopped and poised watching that boat idle around by the docks. What a cool feeling that I would soon be riding in it.
