I am selling this subwoofer box\seat on ebay (item #5748486687). I made 2, one for myself and one to sell. They both turned out great. All the details are on ebay, but quickly, the hole cutout is for a 10 inch sub, and the box is 1 cu. ft. with a 6.5 inche setback in depth. The walls are 3/4 inch MDF and the box is sealed with silicone and outdoor caulking. The carpet is CC factory carpet for a 2004 Super Air.

Mike,
I just replied to your question. Short answer is I think the carpet is the same... long answer, I would ask someone who knows for sure, like your dealer or someone at West Coast Correct (Rancho Cordova Ca.)

Rod E... I am getting to you next.

Here is another pic w/the cushion.

RodE,

Nice boat...I sent you a response through ebay... did you get it?

Swass, thanks. I workd hard on these and am real happy with how they turned out. Plus, it sounds awesome. It is a tigh, crisp sounding bass. The box is sealed really well, so by just thumping on the woofer, it creates a nice 40 Hz or so tone.

UncleJessie, That is the coolest (and cleanest) box I've ever seen. Now I'm scheming on how I can do that to the bottom of my back seat in my D-drive Toyota.

Thanks Cal. I got the idea from others who have done similar boxes that were posted here and on PlanetNautique.com. I tweaked their design\idea by adding the storage area.
