Does it throw any of you guys off if you dont get in all of your sets in the weekend?

I feel like I need to ride 3 times a day, If I dont it just does not set well with me at all.

Do I need to relax?

depends on how much you accomplish in a set. Sometimes I ride 1 long set, sometimes 2 short ones. Sometimes one short one if I accomplish enough. Just have fun and learn what you can in the time you have. It's all good.

on a typical weekend weather permitting i will put in 4 - 5 45 min to 1 hour sets in per day

i go untill im tired or untill i crash so hard it hurts... i took a pretty bad kidney shot on the weekend from the wake, ditched the comp vest for the extra protection of the CGA vest for the rest of the day

I get out on the water at about 7 a.m. until the wind picks up in the morning at about 10, and then later in the day at sunset around 8:30 until its so dark we can't see the rider...

I like to get in at least 3 sets in a day also, especially if the water is nice all day!

I rarely ever ride three times in a day. When I do it's just to play around with some grabs and have fun. But, my first two sets are pretty long usually. I'm known to ride for 40 minutes or so.

I don't know that you have to ride 3 sets a day but it doesn't hurt. I've found progression is directly related to water time...and your pain tolerence! We'll usually take 2 sets unless we are one a lake trip where we are on the water all day in which we'll take 3.

I have several inverts/spins in my bag but only ride once a week at most. If someone just started riding (and they are willing to crash) they will most likley pass me up by next year if they are riding 3 sets a day 5 days a week. So I'm basically complaining that I need to ride more!

I would dearly love to ride three sets a day on the weekend.
I would dearly love to ride three sets a week.
I would dearly love to ride three sets a month (this summer at least)
So, yes, it throws me off when I don't get hardly any sets in at all. From my viewpoint, if you're riding three sets a day every weekend...be happy. There are many who don't get that luxury.

Blair - Usually we have three guys out in the boat for about three hours... rotate around and everyone gets some riding in. Three hours straight would kill me

I ride one set about every three weeks. And I am really surprised that my riding hasn't suffered more. I can still do all the basic stuff. I do have a little more of a problem with my advanced inverts. But it is just the way it is with work and bunch of lake rouches on my lake. BCP Mike
