Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has or is familiar with an early 90's Mariah. I haven't heard much about the wake on these things but I'm sure they're not going to be anything real great. Just thought I'd see if anyone had any opinions on them. Thanks in advance.

Funny you mentioned it. I was working in a developing neighborhood last week and got to talking to one of the ladies that lived there (on the lake) and she said she loved to ski and I told her about the wakeboard competition that I was in next week and she asked if I needed some practice. Not having a boat myself I jumped at the chance. She had a Mariah, it was unweighted but IMO threw a huge wake for an I/O. The wake transitioned much like a wake boat wake. I was very suprised by it's wake. With some weight and a tower I would put that boat agaisnt a good bit of the wake boats around.

I had a 1990 Supra Mariah as my first boat. If you get a couple of Fat sacs and put them on both sides of the Engine and crank the wakeplat all the way up it makes a pretty sweet wake. I used to have some Great boarders back in the day say it was a sweet wake. I never had a problem with it either when adding 1200lbs of ballast.
Good luck.
Supras make good reliable boats.
Im on my second one now and will be getting a new 2006 21v this winter.

Thanks for the info guys. Clay, I think you're thinking of an actual Mariah boat not a supra because the supras are inboards. I appreciate the info though. E Double U, was there any kind of room for hiding ballast either sacs or lead?? Does it have the trunk ski locker? What kind of room under the bow? Thanks
