I have the latest close toed Byerly boots and the boot lifts off the board in front and back. I have tightened every screw I could find and still it comes up in the front and back this only happens on my front foot. Does anyone have this problem?

the way those boots are designed there is nothing to do about it. they have a ton of heel and toe lift. i rode the byerlys as well for half the year and have over an inch of lift on my heels and toes while cutting hard and tweaking grabs. i recently switched back to the 3ds/atlas bindings though beause i felt like i had more support with them

The new murrays have the same design, When I first got them I actually needed an electric drill to fully tighten the screws, and I could still fit my finger between the heels and toes, I dont know how long you've had your byerlys but I found that after a few sets my murrays molded to my board, HOWEVER, when cutting or tweeking out grabs, there is still heel/toe lift. I'm not sure if that was intended or not, but I hear that Hyperlite got a new person to design the boots.

the lift was not intended but is as a result of the shock absorbing layer under the bindings. they have changed that design for 09 and it will be they will be nothing like that.
