Donjoy replacement straps?

I am in need of ideas for inexpensive replacement straps for my Donjoy Defiance knee brace. My brace is about 7 years old and the straps are worn out. I called Donjoy and they want $176 for a set of 4 straps, pads, and liner.

Are they nuts??? Come on people, we're talking about neoprene/fabric straps with velcro, not golden fleece. I'm thinking there has got to be another way to DIY?

Any ideas?

Check out this site. I ordered replacement parts for both of my Defiance braces the company is awesome. You can but total replacement kits for $130. The crazy this is that they will actually ship directly from DonJoy. Hope this helps.

Do you know what part #'s or size straps you need? I stopped wearing the Donjoy about 7 years ago and replaced with a CTi, so I might have what you need for free.

I am waiting on a call back from my local Donjoy rep. According to Donjoy the reps can offer much better pricing? Strange policy, but I guess I'll give him a try. If that doesn't work out I'll get back with you guys about your offers.
