I think my servo motor went out. At first when I turned the key, the motor would wind up tight but after it set it and I backed off the throttle it would just stay where it was so my throttle would stay stuck open. Then it went to not winding up at all even when I turned off the key and back on.

Anyone else have a problem with their servo motor?

FYI-- just read some other post and I guess it would help to mention that the servo isnt seized up because I can easily turn it by hand. Also the gauge works perfect, reads speed, and tach reading. Could I have fried the actual servo?

I found the problem so im posting just in case it happens to someone else.

There is a set screw on the nob that sit on the servo motor. make sure its tight or the shaft of the motor will spin freely not winding up your cable.
