I've been using the '05 Byerly bindings since they came out and have always really liked them. I like the fact that I can lock myself in and the bindings are tight everywhere on my foot but I still have a good range of motion. They don't have any pressure points for me either. Most important for me though is when I crash hard I either stay in the bindings or they BOTH come off.

I have been looking for a closed toe replacement for them so I can ride longer in the colder water but can't find anything that works for me. I've tried Shanes and Watsons but neither bindings lean far enough forward for me. I really like how the old Byerlys have a forward lean to them so I can get a hard heelside edge. I thought the Zues bindings would be answer but they have a terrible hard spot on the bottom of my foot where the mounting plate is.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for something with a closed toe and forward lean.
