Alright guys I know you all hate these threads but I need some help cause it doesnt look like I can find a place willing to demo for me. I am debating between the LF Shane 136 and the CWB Transend 138 I am about 5'10 solid 155 pounds. I have ridin alot of liquid force and like them alot but my friend recommended the CWB. I just need a vote. Thanks

no one here can tell you what board's right for you, or which board you will definitely like. people can recommend one or the other, but fact is, the ONLY way for you to know is to demo each one. go see antbug at ultimate in fairfield. he'll hook you up w/ a demo. tell him i sent you. i haven't ridden the transcend, but i currently ride the shane 140 and absolutely love it. you might want to consider trying that size.

from what i have heard of the two boards i would choose the LF shane, mainly because of the claimed soft landings. also i have riiden an older transcend and didn't think much of it... now i know that may not be completely fair, but ive also ridden an older shane and thought better of it (from memmory) I love slingshot though, Flex Forever!!

Love my Transcend. The landings are rediculously soft and the pop is amazing. The only change in boards I made this year was going to the Platinum. FWIW I ride the 138. I'm 160 lbs. The new shape ('07 and up) is entirely different from the old shape that few people liked.

Andy, I'm just going to point something out that I have noticed. In the Obrien thread that was up recently, someone brought up slingshot and some discussion started about their boards. Your comment was "I thougt we were talking about O'brien boards how did we start talking about Slingshots?" But here, once again, you throw O'brien boards into a discussion that otherwise doesn't involve them. So if you're going to do stuff like this maybe you shouldn't be surprised when it happens the other way around. No hate man, Obrien is good stuff, you're just repping your product, but keep this in mind.

The comment andy made was to me. I would guess he was mostly joking. If i mention something off topic i usually try to tie it in somehow, in the obrien thread i got just a little carried away. but good to know someone is looking after me and all the rest of us too LF vs CWB??? uhhh... one additional letter of the alphabet?
