ok i have a 01 xstar and im running stock ballast and also 200 extra in the back on the left side to even the boat out. Do i need to add any extra weight to the front to make the wake better or should i just leave it how it is?

Just get as much weight as possible in that thing...you definately need front weight.

With stock rear, and ski locker ballast, I would recommend adding at least 500# to the bow. That maintains about a 1:1 ratio between the rear and bow ballast, which I'm finding to be ideal.

Good luck, and happy riding.

yes....i would go with a 50/50 if not 60/40 front/rear. The more weight the bigger the grin on your face will be!
