Had the opportunity to ride one at a demo event and it was super fun. Funny enough we won a 4’4” model at a raffle later that week but I think it’s too small.

I have surfed a few skimboards at this length and seems like it simply doesn’t float me well enough to be nimble on the water...just confirming this is often the case with a skim style (or probably all boards) that are just too small for the riders weight? Any benefits to riding something on the super small side?

Trying to figure this out without damaging this $700 board...otherwise I’ll be looking to trade it as I am at 6’ and 185lb and seems like the larger model would be better. Damn this thing is beautiful though.
