Whats the big deal about the Tsunami pump. I have the Rule 1100's which flow 1100 gpm. The tsunami doesn't even show there flow rate but say that It flows double than any other pump? Is this bullshirt or what? Great marketing? I just bought the Flying High Pro 750 and boy are they pushing this pump. Whats your take on it? Thanks Jet

Been using the 1200s for 3 seasons on fly high v-drive sacs. No problems with the pumps and they'll fill/drain 400+lbs in a little over 4 min. Never used the rules just b/c they were always way more expensive.

We use both, the Rule 1100's are hard plumbed into 750's,and the Tsunami 1200 just to fill a walk way 400lb and I see no real difference. We are also using the factory Malibu ballast pumps (Piranha I believe)to fill the integrated front bag and I see no difference with that pump vs the other pumps which are larger and I can get the Malibu pumps a lot cheaper also. Just My input, hope this helps you.

Oohh! So the Tsunami's are 1200 gpm? Why don't they just say that? And Ryan..I pick up the Rules at the fishing shop for $39 bucks. Way less than the $99 they wanted for the Tsunami. OK..so no real difference?

the $99 is for the cigarette lighter pump with hose and attachments. otherwise its $40

I just bought the attwood tsunami pump (which is the same that flyhigh uses from what i can tell), two hose clamps, 3 feet or so of hose, a brass hose attachment, and a water bed fill kit. Cost me like 50 bucks to make the same pump they sell for 100. Works great.

yea 1200 gph is what they're rated for. got 4 rule 1100 in my boat with no issues.

The Tsunami runs the Rules out of the park. Maybe its the bigger diameter hose, but it beats my Rule 2000 on a 400lb sack by at least a minute. Hands down fastest pump out there.

Hey Nacho. Are they mounted horizontal?

They are horizantal. I've got the fill pumps and their manifold on a scoop to force-feed them a little to get started.

You can get hardware-less Tsunami's for $42. I suspect if all the the hardware was equivalent, there would not be much difference in a Rule 1100 or Tsunami 1200 GPH pump. Plumbing diameter makes a huge difference as does the height you are raising the water.
