I'm looking to get my kids onto the wakeboard for the first time this year. They are ages 6 and 4. They both ski (dual skis), but I want them to get started on the board. I have seen 121cm boards for kids, but doesn't this still seem a little big?

HL is coming out with a 109 and I believe Liquid Force has a 118 out now. They are both in their 2006 brochures.

I know HL and LF have had 118's for a couple of years now and the 2006 lines have girls and boys specific boards. Make you a great deal on a LF Nemesis 118 w/ Micro Bindings. They look brand new. I have two girls, 4 and 6, and they will look that much more adorable on a '06 pink flower board than on a yellow and red monster truck board. Let me know if interested.

How do you know what size to get kids? I have a 5yo who is looking to get started but, I wouldn't know to go with a 118/119 or the smaller HL Motive 109.

the problem with kids is that they grow so dam fast. You gotta pic a board they can grow into yet isn't to big.

My kids are 7 & 9 and ride a Nemisis. they have been on it for over a year. My son is 9 and weighs just about 50 pds and my dausghter is the 7 y.o. and wieghs 40-45 they love the board and had no problems riding it. BTW neither of them had any desire to ski even though they tried it several times, so it seems like an excellent beginners board.Upload

I bought HL Motive 119 for my 5 & 7 year old. I was afraid that the 109 would be too small in a year or two.

Ya the CWB charger 119 is sweet to I got some in the shop and was plesently suprised how sweet it was, molded fins and all. Looks like a mini Absolute. For shure the best kids boad I have seen and you can get it with bindings for 249.00 at most shops and its a 06 model killer deal.
