I seem to be getting water in the tank of my 02 xstar while weighted for surfing. The filler cap is tight. I think it is getting in through the vent in the cap. Has anyone experienced this? Any way to relocate the vent to prevent it? How do I get the water out of the gas tank? Thanks.

How about if you weight the opposite back corner of your boat? If you have a electric fuel pump , you could put a make shift line to it and tranfer it out that way, or get a syphon hose and go at it the old fasion way.
