I bummed a board off my friend and it doesnt have the fins on it. I want to buy fins for it and dont really know what to get, meaning iif they'll fit my board, the board is an older one and the brand is sound?? I take it that its a generic board or something. There is just one bolt hole completely through the board then on either side of the hole there is a hole about halfway through. Its only got two, in the middle, front and back

Jacob, my advice is to ride it often before you throw a fin on it. My first board was finless, although it did have some small 'molded' fins on the sides. If the board is super squirrely then maybe a fin is a good idea, but if you can learn to ride finless you will be a better rider IMHO. I ride the Hyperlite Roam (it is finless) for fun, it is just a completely different feel than my 4-fin 3DS.

However, if you insist on getting fins, get something like a 0.7 or 1.0 inch set (I definitely wouldn't go bigger than 1.2 inches).

That old sound board has a bit of a channel in the ends but if you are just starting out get some fins. You can buy pretty much any of the aftermarket fins and they will fit. You have to have really good edge control to ride a board like that finless. You will have a lot more fun with some fins. After you have been riding for a while take off the fins and see how it goes.

yeah like there arent any molded fins on it, i have riden a decent amount before this but its been awhile and the board is reaaly buttery, more than i would like. But thanks anyways for the suggestions.
