Can't get the Cotter Pin out?

For the love of Christ I cannot get the cotter pin out to switch out my prop?

Do I need to do something first????????

Sorry to be so ignorant, but this seems fairly straight forward and I am having NO LUCK....

E.J. ~~ I had to get another one when I changed Ryan's prop. A pair of pliers and some bending and breaking you will get it. I picked up a new one at a tire shop and they didn't even charge me ! If you need a hand give me a call and I will head down, or just need somebody to hold a beer and laugh at you under the boat and cramping!

Just finished....but if I would have seen your post, I would have called..... Christ that was a lot tougher than I thought it would be....

ouch I bet that had a bit of a vibration.

Strange thing, absolutely none...?? Didn't even know that I had a ding until I pulled the boat and noticed when wiping down.

Are you going to have the old one repaired or re-pitched?
It's nice to have a back-up.

SAWEEET boat... That shouldn't cost more than $200 to fix that. I would say a lot less but it also depends where you live. CA has some expensive business' when it comes to repairing a prop....

Yes, getting the prop repaired..... Never know when I will need to put it back on.
