Best Cleaner for Diamond Plate?

The diamond plate on my trailer is in need of cleaning and I was just wandering what some of you use for this.

Use a pressure washer or car wash. If you want it to be shiny again you use an aluminum polish.

I would be cautious with the pressure washer around the paint on the trailer. Ive seen a few take skin right off people's leg/feet, I wouldn't want to find out what it does to a paint job. Can't go wrong with some aluminum polish or rubbing compound. Mother's is a solid brand but anything will work.

Any metal polish combined with elbow grease. I would not use steel wool. Use a foam pad with a car polisher if you got one. (not a crappy pep boys one though)

Use the mothers wheel polish and the mothers power ball. The diamond plate will tear up the power ball but it does a good job. I have done small pieces and it worked good for me.

Actually when polishing aluminum its best to use:
-Aluminum polish such as Mothers and 0000 steel wool
-Followed up by mothers and a clean rag.

Blue Magic. Blows Mothers away.

Powder coat cleans it up nicely

I actually use a product called Heavy Metal, it has 3 levels of abrasion and is very easy to use. I'll try Blue Magic down the road.

Heavy Metal is great stuff to. I have some of that and it works great.

If they can do powdercoat that looks like polished aluminum, that aint a bad idea. Have to ask my powdercoat guy about that one.

How bout cleaning up chrome wheels? Mine have quite a bit of hard water stains on them from sitting too close to the yard sprinklers.

I used Flitz on mine and it worked pretty well. Used the ball that came with it.
