I used to kneeboard quite a bit actually...most of the square tip boards that I have seen like the HO Joker, Obrien Lowrider and Kaos have more aggressive rales (thinner like a wakeboard) provide more pop and provide nice pop when hitting the wake backwards. However, if you are just learning you might want to go with a spoon shape ( pointed or round tip...they are fun but are less aggresive typically much slower on edge and provide less pop.

Hope this helps

Bubba, it doesn’t matter if it has a pointed tip or a square tip, I go big. Don’t listen to Rob, he is from Alabama and is getting used to wearing shoes in public, he is just a little unhappy about that. Did I mention that I go big?
