I've ridden behind it in pretty rough water with stock ballast at 70 feet with the wedge all the way down. It was very similar to my LSV maybe a little lippier but not much more. It was good sized for no extra weight. The ride in rough water is as advertised though. Even though riding in rough water sucks it seemed like the smooth ride kept the pull more consistent instead of lunging and changes in speed that other I've experienced with other Malibus in rough water. I don't know compared to other brands though, haven't had enough riding experience in rough water behind other boats. We filmed the whole thing and I'm planning on putting it on my site, when it's up I'll let you know.
