Well, I managed to cut myself quite deeply on my shin. And it's not a big deal, can ride and what not. But I'm sure you guys have run into the annoyance of the scab always coming off after riding and then bleeding, and going through that everytime. So it takes forever to really heal. Anybody find anyting to help this? So far I guess I just gotta deal with it.

wrap it up tight-like with a dry wrap, it'll prevent wear and tear.

put neosporin on it, then wrap it with foam pre-wrap. Then tape around it with athletic tape. When you get out, take off all the dressing and put new neosporin on it. It will fight any bacteria and other crud getting into the cut. I had the exact same cut location and it healed in a week.

liquid bandage or super glue...both work great and are waterproof. Super glue lasts longer

Sounds wild ,but super glue will do the trick.I used to be a fighter and used it for small cuts over the eye.Stops the bleeding right now !! Also burns big time!!I always carry some in the boat, don't want to bleed on the new seats......

There is this stuff you can get @ the health food store, called immuskin. It can be applied to cuts, rashes, or other skin problems. Speeds up the healing process and will help to prevent scarring. If you can't find it @ the health food store do a search for immuskin on the net, stuff really works
