Help with '01 Hyperlite fins?

Anybody know about this?? I just picked up an older HL Byerly, '01 I think (with the Samuri warrior and the Koy fish) because I needed to replace my bashed up '00 (the first year Hyperlite Byerly). Anyway, it came with no fins, and the single bolt fins from my '00 won't work because the outer two holes in the '01 deck have some weird little metal sleeves epoxied in there, and the diameter is too small to allow for the alignment plugs that come with standard fins (Rainbow, etc). I can't figure it out. Did these boards require some special smaller-diameter hardware, or what is up? I also tried the two-bolt fins from my '03 Cassette, and the sleeves in the board were too small for those bolts, too.
