:-)

It took me a while as well. It has been mentioned on here a couple times though.

CIE: Concussion Isn't Enough

... In other words, unless you broke something, keep your butt in the water, and take another pull.

I've heard CWB Is Everything before also. Maybe a CIE guy will post and we'll find out what it is.

CIE is a group of guys for the movement of wakeboarding. As you see with CWB and the Faction movement CIE is all about the same premise. Concussion Isn't Enough to stop them from riding. They are stand up guys all the way around and are always up to helping progress the sport. Check out there site www.ciewakeboarding.com .

Sanger guy...thanks for the answer and the link. I am now more informed!

BTW...here is another ? How do you get over the injury fear if you are in your 30's? I can do stuff on my snowboard that I can't on a wakeboard? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Avoid the glory run of just hucking a trick your not prepared for. Force yourself to do wakejumps with grabs. Then 180's, 360's, off of one wake first if you need too. Not only is this the correct way to progress but it'll be no time before you board control is such that plain old riding the wake, slashing at it and boardslides, is so much fun. If your having an off day wakeskates and the Roam are perfect ways of channeling frustration in a positive way.

Paul...thanks for the input. Thanks to my snowboarding background wake jumps with grabs are fairly natural. I do have the book so I am familiar with the progression ladder.

I guess what is hard for me is to go out and ride like that with my buds, whether it is my boat or his, and ride this way. I guess if I want to evolve my riding this is what I HAVE to do!

For me (not that good yet), I am more willing to try stuff on the wakeboard that I would never dream of on my snowboard because it doesn't hurt nearly as bad when you crash in the water! Nothing like a good hard fall on the tailbone while snowboarding to end your day!

Since CIE is a group of guys for the movement of wakeboarding, does that mean they are an organization or a club or team or something? If so, how do you become a part of this? I love to spread the love of the sport, introducing someone to wakeboarding is a huge move in helping this sport grow! Let me know, I'm very interested...!
