It sucks, my boat is in storage for the winter and thieves cut a hole in the fence and hit about 15 boats in the complex. My boat was one of them. They took all my stereo stuff: couple of JL amps, sub, interior speakers, even the speaker wire. Thankfully I had removed my tower speakers. The interior speakers were stock, and I wanted to replace them, so there is a bright side I guess, but I still have to pay my deductable which would have just bought new ones anyway...

Has anyone else experienced this and filed an insurance claim? If so, how did you get coverage for the labor to install new equipment? It’s easy to price the individual parts but the labor is the question. Did you just go to a shop and get an estimate? That seems to be the logical choice.

My agent seems to be clueless as what to do, so I ask you all. He has no idea what to do, even asked for receipt for the stock speakers.

And please no one point out how dumb I am for not un-mounting my amps

I would call your dealer and ask for a quote to replace and install all the stuff taken. I would then give that quote to the insurance company and tell them that is what you need to fix it. They will send you a check and you can get what you want to replace the stock stuff.
