summer vacation

This summer my family is thinking about going to a nice lake and possibly renting a houseboat or waterfront cabin of some sort. What are some really nice lakes to visit that have really nice scenery, but also have nice water. Thanks in advance. I am looking in the southern part of the U.S mainly.

Tablerock, Texhoma, ummm... I dunno any others really we just go to our riding spots and alot of them dont have houseboat rentals or places to stay on them!!!
