Been reading all the helmet no helmet threads and have decided to get one. Looking at the Pro Tec Ace Wake. Anyone have experience with sizing. My dome measures 57cm which is what the large is. Should I go with that or get a medium so it is sure to be tight? I haven't had a chance to find one locally to try it on. I may have to order online, so if anyone has experience with these, it would be a big help.

Let me clarify a little. Below is the sizing chart. I am on the small side of a Large, so would the medium be better?

Helmet Size Head Circumference (cm)
S 53 - 54
M 55 - 56
L 57 - 58
XL 59 - 60

That model has a special piece in back that adjusts to your head so id go with large.

I just saw this in the Overtons catalog what is the difference between a” wake “ helmet or a “ water “ don’t they work the same. Sorry to ask on your thread but thought it goes with the topic.

Cool. I just ordered the Ace Wake from REI. Full return policy so ordered two sizes and will return the one that fits. The sales guy even recommends that. Free shipping if delivered to a store, and 15% of when signing up for the newsletter. Woo hoo.

The 'wake' helmet includes the ear guards, Allie.
