Is missing a very important category

"When the waters calm"

I'm excited to go any time of day! I do find something special about early morning and late evening sets when I find myself on the lake around 06:30 or as late as 22:30 and some days you're riding with both the sun and the moon in the sky. There's bird calls and calm in both occasions. Evening might have morning beat because after the boat is off the lift and you've had a half hour or more to relax it's about starting up a beach fire and kicking it till the wee hours with good friends, good tunes, and the occasional good bevy.

i would guess people are choosing either/and the time that is most "smooth/calm water" and/or just simple convenience due to work schedule or something.

But i dig your meaning, poetry in motion.

I hate going in the mornings, I just cant seem to find a lot of motivation except if the water is dead ass calm, which it usually is. The best time of the day to ride though in my opinion is the late afternoon/evening. The water is usually calm and everyone is off the lake. Usually its about my 3rd-4th run of the day because of riding in the morning and mid-day but its always nice to enjoy a good relaxing session as the sun sets and all of the cool stuff hahaha.

im with henry exactly i cannot get myself to go in the morning and if i do i am just mad tired and just ride pretty badly. In the morning im more content to watch others ride and then once it reaches early afternoon ill hit it up.

Agree, late afternoon is best. I also like really early in the morning once I am actually in the water. I normally get up REALLY early anyway for work, so the early morning start is no biggie.

I personally like the late afternoon to evening session...first because its really relaxing, usually pretty calm, not scorching hot, killer sunsets, just an all around good time...plus we get to use the lights on teh tower :-)
