i was wondering if any of you guys know how much it cost (including instalation, tires etc...) to get a 6 inch lift on a truck? Also, would it cause a problem to tow a boat from much higher?
I know this is off topic, but I saw some pictures of members with trucks who had lift kits so I thought I could maybe get an answer here.
thanks

David,
Towing with a lifted truck is offset with a drop hitch.

Depends on truck (IFS or straight axle) IFS is more expensive, also company you choose, and wheel tire combo. IE a an RCD kit on a chevy 2500 with Weld 18's and 35's can run as much as $8000. A milder set up can go for around $5000. With a 6 inch lift you most likely need a 8 inch drop hitch.
