They look good...and I have 50 watt halogen on my boat 4 back 2 forward and it is pretty good!!! 50/55watts are what your standard driving fog lights are on vehicles. They have upgraded bulbs at any auto store to 100 watts if you need more light. But you will have plenty for surfing and parking at night.

I think they are just screwed into the illusion tower. So why couldn't you just do the same thing to a flat piece of aluminum?

Here's my light bar setup on my 07, monster clamps, DIY powdercoated bar, pilot projector beam lights ( amber lens) to reduce bugs. In it for around $200

julianne, yep, it's a cheap handheld GPS. I live on a decent sized lake, and use the GPS to navigate quite a bit at nite. I mark stumps and channels. Our lake is realtively shallow. I have to ride up across the lake to get to the river I ride on and go thru a cahnnel that is 3 feet deep ( I sometimes need to find this channel at nite) the GPS helps a ton. My boat turns into a water taxi at nite and there have been a couple of times where a deep fog roles in and I'm at a friends house...w/o GPS there is no way I could find my way home. I got a really nice Fusion four light bar off of Ebay from Fusion. They were unloading a bunch of stuff a month ago not sure if they still are. I paid $145. Check profile pic to see it.

I guess tower lights are good for putting the boat onto a hoist/dock or trailer in the dark. They are useless and illegal when underway. I had them on my boat for 8 years. I used them twice and I cleaned them 50 times. Now, they are in a box and I hope to sell them for a song on WW. I will never get them again. I will instead spend the money on useful toys. But, hey, whatever floats your boat.

Mine stay clean with a cover installed till I need em. Think I've cleaned em twice in two years. They are great when arriving to a drive in campsite at nite for backing in and setting up camp. Also great when arriving at night to a boat in campsite when you have to cart your gear to the site and need it to be "daylight" for a bit. LOL. And of coarse to trailer at night or for the occasional night sesh! Laws are made to be broken. I still break the speed limit and talk on my cell phone. LOL. Discretion is key. Time and place for everything...

GD i don't understand your selling yours for a song?? if i missed something what bar is it and how much do you want for them?
