Seriously.... I loved the highback's.
Why not get some CWB bindings to put on the CWB you've got. You should try on some Fuses. They're similar in flex to the highbacks.
In the HL line, the 3DS did take over for the highback. I guess it depends on how you feel about closed toes.

I've got a brand new pair of 04 Highbacks that I bought a couple of years ago. They must have changed over sometime around the end of 04 early 05. Great binding by the way. Their simple, supportive, and easy to adjust.

by far the best binding of its time. Look at any old video and you will see everybody was wearing them. Even Parks, and this was back when he didnt even ride for hyperlite.
The 3ds took its place, but I agree it does not have the same wrap hold.
I am sure somebody has a pair buried in their closet they'd probably sell. I am still looking for new wraps for my old pair. Hyperlite doesnt even carry parts for them anymore.

I have 2 pairs of highback, but I doubt the mini meds would be of any use to you.
Have you tried calling Performance about spare parts?

I wore my 2000 HL Highbacks until 2005 when I got the Temets because of the BOA system. I tried other bindings, but no one makes a binding like the highbacks. Loved mine, they are now on my guest board.

i have a pair of 04 highbacks barely used. ill sell if anyone wants to buy. 200 plus shipping. or best offer..depends i would probably lower the price if ppl think this is too high. size XL by the way. they are too small for me.

Thanks for the info! We were bs'ing the other day about how they are probably the most comfortable and easiest to use. I have a pair but they're getting a little tattered.
Evan - I got rid of the CWB last year and am on a State 145 now.
