I was hoping to get some ideas and suggestions as this will be the first time I am going to be camping with my boat.

I have a 24 foot toy hauler and we wanted to hit up a lake and park the RV right by the water and have the boat in the water the entire stay.

Of course it should have great water and be a nice place...

Can anyone chime in?

Lake Don Pedro - Moccasin Point has RV parking right next to the water where you can have your boat beached.

arright.. I just called DP and the chick laughed and said that you have to make reservations a year in advanced to get a campsite on the water. She happened to look and there was a cancellation earlier today so I got the site.. STOKED!!

Have fun, Don P's a great lake that doesnt get too crowded especially on the moc side. Make sure to make a left out of the launch ramp, then a left out of the 5mph zone, then a left under the 2nd bridge and go through the canyon.

What camp site did you get? When are you going? I just got one for the weekend of 22-24th of June at Fleming Meadows. I will be able to see my moored boat. I called and there was nothing. I called back not 3 minutes later and got H-30 which I'm told is a nice site. Looks pretty good to me.

Isaac-
Thanks for the offer but we (my wife and kids) will leave about 6:00PM so that the sun can hit me in the eyes all the way home to the Bay Area.
