Those look good! Small sized shots don't do these lens' justice!

So what was the story with that breakdown? They ran it out of oil? Obviously wasn't a new boat. Do you know if they fried the motor or did it shut down before serious damage?

lady at the shop said that new new mbs are requiring like 5 hours less then normal for the first oil change. i guess the other camp had just found this out about a week ago and didn't communicate it up to them.she said once they got back they had to put 3 quarts of oil into it before it registared on the dipstick. pretty sure it shut down with no problems as they were back out the next day.

Wow, even if it was breakin oil it's hard to believe it would go through that much in just a few hours!

thanks for the update and keep those 70-200 shots coming. It's a great wakeboarding lens!
