My son is on an a 121 Hyperlite Voyager... a kids board with huge fins. It'll be his last season on it, but we're building a little kicker this week. Being a kids board (and I don't think they changed that model's design for years), there aren't really any molded outer fins, so if we take out the main fins it's going to be pretty slippery. I was thinking of buying the Ronix slider fins, didn't know if the hole pattern is the same. Not even sure if the kids' Hyperlite pattern is the same as the adult one... but it looks like two screws about 3" apar, no nubs.
Anyone know if Ronix fins would work??

THANK YOU.

If your kid riding the 121 is accomplished enough to send him over a kicker, then he is likely accomplished enough to control the board without any fins. It will be slick but also its much better to go over a kicker without fins.

No clue if the fins will fit.

Back when I was much younger I had a voyager that I rode without fins. Shouldn't be too hard to manage if he can manage a kicker as previously stated.
