Lame? It's not really asthetically pleasing, but neither is that boat, so what the hell. I would love to sit up there with a drink and watch everyone else board when it's not my turn. Very cool!
Yeah looks like an old supra marauder.... looks like fun I have to admit... I can only imagine the stress cracks in that boat around the mounts.... Also that much weight up so high has got to really sway the boat when the rider cuts out hard
there have been a bunch of post on that boat. I guess there is no extra swayin from riders up top and it actually helps the driver when he turns supposedly. I think its awesome personally.
Helps the driver when he turns? Have you ever taken a physics class? Would it help a driver in a lifted Excursion to have an elephant sit on its roof, I don't think so. The reason boats turn into the turn is because of their low center of gravity.
some people must have never heard of a cobia tower where people actually ride on the top of the tower to spot cobia, yes they do use 20-22' boats also. Of course theirs may be mounted better then us boarders towers??
I have a buddy who rides in the sky ski comps that this boat runs. From what I understand the boat is huge, and runs around 3k in lead. I guess the it's extremely stable when riding in it.
I like that tower...not to add that the rope is higher, so more upward pull. That would be an awesome boat with a big enough engine...just fill it with like 4 or 5 fat sacs on every side of the engine!
I think it is a cool, low budget, unique bad ass wake boat that somebody made. A hell of a lot cooler than some punk kid with daddies Xstar I'll build something like that before I buy another new boat. A Supra Beast would be a good starting platform, 454 and about 25 ft long.
