ipod format

I am finally being sucked into the ipod thing. My question is when I move or add all my music to itunes will I be able to record it all in mp3 format. I am not a big fan of the acc file thing!

yep mp3 is fine

i just got a ipod nano 2gb free last week and i transfered most of my mp3's to it with itunes...

drag n drop, mp3 and the ipod native file formats can coexist harmoniously together on an ipod.

yeah you can just go to advanced on the ipod screen and select convert to mp3
after that select each song in the library, right click, and get info and see if the song is in mpeg-3 format...then you're set
you have to do this if you ever want to transfer songs onto some other type of mp3 player (LIQUID TUNES!)
