Trying to find some 1st hand info on Ski Supreme boats. They've only been in our area a couple years so not alot of people to talk to. We looked at a V208 Sky last weekend. Lots of nice features for boarding. Any input on build quality and wake quality would be appreciated.
Thanks

A friend of mine has one. I've only been on it once. The interior quality is comparable to a centurion. The wake is nice after you add some extra weight. With only the stock ballast system, the wake was still a little flat. However it turned to steep and huge once we added an additional 600 to the floor. With the extra weight, the Supreme was a little short on power (just enough but no extra). So we added another 500 pounds to see what would happen. The wake was fricken huge but you could tell the boat was grossly overloaded because it handled poorly (but the wake was killer ). I think the value is there. You get a little less, but for a lot less money. If you slam your boat with a lot of extra weight, see if they have a upgraded motor option.

Were you in a DD or a V drive? It seemed to me that between the engine in back, the 2 ballast tanks, and the 50 gal gas tank full it should be decent. Not sure how much good the hydraulic wakeplate will be. It comes with the 315 hp Mag engine but probably worth stepping up to the 330 hp Scorpion.

I was in a v-drive drive. It was 'okay' depending on what you're used too. If you're used to a big wake, you'll need more weight.

I have a 03 V208 and love it. Just like most boats, the more weight=bigger wake + less handling ability. In 03, Supreme went with a better quality foam padding with less memory, much better than other brands. In Oregon we have 6-7 months to ride, so $50K seemed too much. For the $, I'm very happy with Supreme.

Thanks for the input. Clint, which engine do you have? I think it comes with the 315 hp Mag. We'll lose a chunk of power running at 5000' altitude so might consider the 330 Scorpion. It's a lot of $ to step up only 20 hp.
