If you had a choice between a 2001 Malibu VLX for $29,000 and it is not that loaded but in good shape, center ballast and low hours, pretty much needs perfect pass and audio stuff

or

A 2000 Centurion elite V for $25,000 has no factory ballast but has perfect pass audio and tower speakers it also is in good shape and low hours.

First off the Malibu is $4000 more. What would be your choice and why.

Definetly the malibu because uv got ballast and the wedge so youve already got a good wake befor you start adding sacs or lead

not to mention you have better re-sale and from my experience a more reliable boat. We sell Malibus in my shop...but a friend of mine has a Centurion.

I liked both, but with more weight the Centurion wake seemed to get a bit sloppy...again, my personal experience.
