some contradicting info.. says that the inspections only go till dec 31 2008. but I called my buddy whos a ranger at Calero whos actually a member on here and he said foreva

just called and got off the phone with the ranger station and they confirmed what my bud said.. they will be doing the inspections forever

no... Metcalf is closed 2 days a week as well for motocross riding but I think thats for maintenance. Not really sure why they close the lake for 2 days a week.

Yah, I knew about metcalf but that's somewhat inherent with the park's purpose. Any idea when this decision occurred and why?

I think they have the lakes closed two days a week to help ease the budget strains? I know Calero is closed 2 days a week, different than Anderson though.

Alright, well I am planning on making up some flier and petitioning this once it gets warm enough.

Only until June 30 Danny. Then they are closed on wed and thurs. My plan is to get the information on petitioning it, get a flyer made and stick them on the car's windshield's in the parking lot from April 16-June 30.
