My take is that the two are fairly different in technique... The ollie 360 is all about spinning while you're leaving the water. A lot like pulling 360s on a snowboard. On a wake to wake 360, you need to wait until you've left the wake and have the big pop (usually almost at the peak of your jump), then use the tension of the rope to initiate your spin by pulling the handle to your back and turning your head. On a w2w 360, if you spin too early right off the wake you'll end up off axis and very low. Hope this helps...
