Hey guys quick question I am looking at this boat its loaded out with tower, racks etc. How does the hull compare to the X Star of its time etc. Are they the same is there that big of a difference in wake especially if its our first boat?

Thanks

huge difference, you're looking at a boat with no ballast, not even really a true *wake* boat..the maristar 210 is a "luxury inboard"..your getting a mellowed down version of whatever X-series model that boat is available in..in this case the x-10..there will be a huge difference in wake from the original 205 hull x-star..and especially the new picklefork x-star..if you're looking for a *wakeboat* from mastercraft..go x-series..not maristar..my .02

Maristar hulls won't throw the same wake as an X1/2/* hull, but they are plenty good enough for 95% of the market. That is probably the same hull as later X-10's.

They are designed for drier, smoother rides, and IMO are a better all-around boat, especially if you're in choppy water frequently.

Beer Good,

That's the exact boat i have now. (See the picture in my profile) I got a great deal on it, put a tower on it, and usually run 3 sacs and 4 or 5 people. It throws a great wake and like what others have said, it handles the chop pretty well. It is the same hull as older X-10s. The craftsmanship is also top notch. This isn't to say that it's my dream boat, just what i could afford at the time. I think the Maristar would make a great 1st boat and then if you really want to you can drop more cash into a newer boat later. That's what i plan on doing, hopefully getting most of the money i put into it out of it. Feel free to private message me if you have any more specific questions.
