You scared them away Joe with the other post.

I was out there on the Wednesday before the event hoping to see some of the sliders built, unfortunately nothing was done yet but they had very cool ideas for sliders and were busting a$$ to make it happen.

i guess so...2 days and i get no response to this. i correct the person about it being "cali's 1st slider park," and he rips on me. i inquire about the event and want to see pics/vids, i get no response. go figure.

Hey Joe, missed you yesterday! Are you asking about that Chris Williams event?? He has been not near a computer for the last couple of days. there was a thread that had some shots of the sliders. HTH, robyn

I heard that the turn out wasn't great and that very little had gone as planned. Again, this is only what I heard.

J-Rod, you are right about both of those but it worked out to be pretty sick, one of the setups they built was completely badass and it "wasnt planned" so i guess it worked out better in that sense. The turnout was disappointing though, i think the problem was the location of the event, way out in Nowheresville

i think the problem was the fact that it was on a freakin thursday...

i dont think the problem was the location, because i talked to half a dozen people that wanted to go but had to work.

I know I would have made it if it were on a weekend. If I have to take a day off, I'm riding!
