07 Byerly or 06 and earlier?

The Byerly is an agressive board. I loved it, it had its problems, but still. the hammerhead was the onlything [IMO] that set it apart from the rest, it had its consiquences tho.

The Murray.

seems to be the complete oposite of the byerly but I havent riden it so i shouldnt say much.

But Derek, don't be too close minded, it seems as though youre pushing away other quality boards. heres some others you might want to look at.

RON1X.

One.

It's a very well developed board, very inovative, and insane pop.

Covin.

For those that ride like Parks [not skill wise obviously] that highly aggressive-take-everything-huge-and-out-into-the-flats style cut.

CWB

Absolute.

Very nice board, lots of pop. if you want to spend the money, make it a platnum, ive been told its worth it.

Liquid Force

Watson.

I saw a launch instructor ridin this one day, and from far away, he looked like he was just killin it, huge air, spins,...

so yea, check some of those out too.

How about the Hyperlite:
Drive (subtle 3 stage)
3ds (continuous)
Era ( 3 stage)

And don't be fooled by the name, they're anything but "lite."

I think that the Era is a good shape, it is one of the old Premier molds. Has anybody ridden the Imperial yet?
