scott no, my wifes flash bulb in her camera exploded so those might take a while. Maybe I'll just have her waste the rest of the film in order to get the pics. I ended up buying/talking her into a new digi hence all the quick pics now. As soon as I get them developed I'll scan a few and post those. I'll shoot you that pic of the 06'.

I opened up your post and imediately I was like is that TURLOCK? Supprising to see that more than me and the other guy with the grey Super Air go there. If you go there often enough you know who i'm talking about... shoot it maybe one of your friends. Check my buddy profile, if you see that boat out there with a bunch of young guys, that's my boat. Shout me a holler. Dont call it a mudhole >.< its the closest water to home hahaha woodward doesn't count... that is an ocean. Alright I just was amazed that there are more than 3 people that ride on Tullock. Have fun.

hey i noticed in the third pic down that the rider was wearing the new 2005 LF Sphynx bindings. have you tried the '04 Limited Edition Sphynx bindings before? is there any difference?

alex i think youre referring to jim.
Old     (forwaken)      Join Date: Jan 2003       05-15-2005, 11:25 AM Reply
Alex-

You are either refering to Jim or Paul or maybe even possibly Jeff one of the three. One has an 02' and the other two an 04'. All are grey, black, and white I think. I ride with Paul, Squid (See krypt above) and Jim somewhat regularly. I haven't had the chance to ride with Jeff yet, but heard he is a cool cat. And even though it is the closest water to home we all still affectionatley (SP?) call it the mudhole cause that's what it is. I wish you wouldn't have said it's name as we also like to think of it as our little secret.... and I hear you on windward I made the mistake of buying a season pass their my first year with a boat.... Squid also has a SAN that's green and white kind of a unique color combo, and occasionally you'll catch my yellow/white VLX out thier as well. Probably a lot more this summer since I will be living only 10 minutes away in July.

Ashley- That's my wife riding those and I don't believe their is any difference in the two. Just make sure you try them on before you get them. They seem to run a size small. We had to modify my wifes so they were comfortable for her. Once they are comfortable on the size, I'm sure you'll love them.

Chad

which one? and do you frequent the mudhole?
Old    aceofdimondz            05-15-2005, 1:34 PM Reply
Thanks for the help Chad. They run a size small? I was going to buy them online. I am about 6 feet tall (yeah I'm tall!) and I have a size 11 mens foot/ 12.5 womens would the large fit do u think or would I do best with the XL? Thanks again!

Ashley-
I wear a size 10.5 and the larges are just right for me and I like them tight. So it depends, you could probably make it by with the larges, but I would probably go with XL's depending on how you like the way your bindings fit. Tight-go with the larges, A little loose, but still grabbing you really well-go with the XL's. Hope this helps.

WHOA, you guys call my baby lake the Mudhole? That lake is named after my hometown. That's funny you call it a little secret but I guess it actually kinda is. Didn't know so many of you knew about it, we should ride sometime or something. Always want to meet new riders around T-town. If any of you ever have room or need a third, I am not far away, and I am looking to ride since I will be back at home (coming home from Chico State for summer) starting on Friday

Alex & BK I have been riding that lake for more than 20years. I leaned to ski on that lake and than rode a skurfer way back then. The reason I named it the mudhole. After a season of riding there if you take your bindings off your board will be stained brown from the water. You can see the difference in color when you take your bindings off. I you have been there a long time then I know you will rember a marron stars and strips master craft. We will haft too hook up and ride sometime always like to meet new people to keep the stoke alive.

Squid-I agree that place is definitely a mudhole, many a time I have fallen only to find that I was actually sitting in water that was at most only 2 feet deep. But it isn't a much-known place and usually good water.

Well you might see Paul's boat up at the lake if he ever gets it back together or leaves it together. (That poor boat I bet wants to run when he has a screwdriver in his hands)

Squid, what part of Delhi are you from? A few years back I was living in the Huntington Ranch subdivision (it's a tiny little one right off the freeway down the road from rico's). I haven't been to that town in a long time, how's it looking?
Old     (twakess)      Join Date: Mar 2002       05-18-2005, 10:53 AM Reply
BK, I live on hinton its on the back side of harmony ranch. Its growing there are houses going in behind rico's like 500 homes. Also I don't know if you were there when we got our little skate park. Its small but fun.

Squid- Damn that little place is blowing up, I wasn't there when the skate park came in, I moved about 4 years ago or so. I know what you are talking about where you live though, there are nice houses in that area, especially considering some of the areas in that place. I live in Turlock now (well my parents do, I go to Chico State now) and I will be there for a few weeks as of Friday, we should meet up or something.

Man, I have been so busy in the past week I haven't even checked back on this thread. Quite a little post session we got goin here. This week I just got back from school at San Diego State. First thing I did was pull my baby home, give her some nice yearly maintenance, good thing I changed the impeller it was about to break . Goin up to Malones for the weekend. So stoked. Hopefully I will see you guys next week over in the mudhole. *wink* we'll keep our pond we call a lake a secret as long as possible.

- BK my best friend just had his first year at Chico, he lived in Whitney. If you dont mind riding behind a boat that isn't top of the line maybe you could join our crew sometime. We ride with like 5 guys that are all 19,20. All of the other mudholees I'll see you out there... and if I get to the backside cove on the right first... STAY THE HELL AWAY! haha
Old     (gherk)      Join Date: Aug 2001       05-19-2005, 5:22 AM Reply
Alex, we can all share the cove as long as we obey the rules. The minute you break out a tube is the minute we ride double up after double up after double up around your boat! J/K hahahah

If you see us out their floating come by and say hi. Check Paul's and my profile for our boats. See you out their....

He is getting old, grumpy, and works to hard. Calm down Squid, drink more Coors Light and get yourself straight.

You mean drink a Coors Light cause only one gets him lopey
Old     (gherk)      Join Date: Aug 2001       05-19-2005, 4:29 PM Reply
No I mean he is only loopey when he doesn't drink. He seems to have a clearer head when he is drinking.

What's up Jeff,

yeah it's 80 to 90 here now. It was probably high 70's to low 80's in those pics. Jeff tells me you may try to make it to the shasta trip huh? That would be cool I promise a lot of good riding, food, people and times man if you come. Hope to see you there.

Hey Chad,

You might have to wrestle me from Misty
She's trying to get me to come down in August for boardstock.

I'm fo sho keeping the Shasta option open and in mind because I like the sound of all of the above.

Went out riding Wednesday night and almost landed my first roll with some instruction with one of our National riders/coaches. It was my first set since riding Don Pedro. Water temp just made it to 60 and it was actually very nice with the full suit(almost too warm). However I'll be at my home lake this weekend and the temp will probably only be 50-55. Air temps are supposed to be 68-75 for the weekend though so that's looking great.

Keep in touch bro.

Alex-I have no problem riding behind anything whatsoever, me and a few buddies used to take out the old boat (which is a circa 1970 mercruiser) and we would ride the hell out of it. If you ride with a group of 19/20 year olds that works even better since I am also 19. If you ever need an extra man I am ready and able, and since my boss is my friend I can almost guarantee I can get the day off. Just PM me or something
