FCT and Air Chair

I thought y'all might like to see my new mounts for my air chair.




I made them out of 1/4" x 2" steel flat stock and 3" diameter 1/4" wall thickness pipe. I will install the same type of bungee cords on them as the stock flight clips have.

Right now they are primered and will soon to be painted.

After I put them on the boat and give them a good water test I will have them powder-coated red to match the bottom portion of my tower.

The ski fits in it upside down with the foil sticking up, and the seat down. This places the ski up out of the sight line of the driver, and keeps everything away from the boat.

It is fairly solid, but the chair does move in chop at high speeds. When going through some chop at slower speeds it was solid.

I might add a support at the foil, but for now I think it is fine.
